Love for RealPython

RealPython is the best resource I have found to continue learning Python. They've got everything: basics to AI, with Django, Flask, devops, APIs, databases, and pandas. It's a great mix of projects and learning.

When I was initially taking the Coursera Google course Automation with Python, I kept stumbling across RealPython whenever I would Google search for some aspect of Python. So it was already on my radar, and after that course ended, I wanted to continue down the Python rabbit hole, so I started spending time on RealPython. While they have a lot of resources for free, I quickly got a subscription. It's some of the best money spend, they add new projects almost daily, and they are super well explained in a fun manner with good visuals, and often videos to match. Their podcast is one of the few podcasts I fairly regularly listen to.

The new content that dropped earlier this week is regarding the Advent of Code project, although they plug various others. I have needed something like this. A year or so back I stumbled into the Google recruitment game that tasks you with various challenges. I really enjoyed that, but it was much too early in learning, eventually I wasn't able to complete them. And since then I've worked mostly of RealPython projects, and my own Django development such as this site. But I miss the challenge and game aspect of the Google thing.

Last night I ended up diving deep into the challenges on HackerRank and Advent of Code. What a great way to continue learning! I'd recommend all of the above.
